Hi,
All those who are using ptcl broadband connection must have noticed the doubling of their broadband connection speeds. We havent heard of this transition in the TV or on the net. So it must be a beta tester from PTCL. Lets see how LinkdotNet will follow this PTCL's move.
Its a competition but PTCL just kicks other competitor with very low rates each time it decides to maneouver on competitiveness.
Sometimes I feel that PTCL plays competitive monopoly.

Fluidity Markets in Pakistan
Hi,
Global Recession is in full swing or might be a start of the big bang, but some markets are still engaging and going good. Clearwire expressed its Quarterly Results and Annually 2008 too, and going well. It is expanding its wimax frontier. Well seems somewhat Fluid in America.
But whats the situation in Pakistan? Telenor gone through its review of final quarter 2008 and claimed good results, but what it says about Telenor Pakistan, I think it is digable. I will dig it in the coming posts.
Does Services are the only frontier for Pakistan, if it then why recession is not touching the services industry in Pakistan?
There are about 35+ Active telecom companies in Pakistan, only few of them are touching the services sector, and remaining are only subcons for these service markets. Well, to measure fluidity in Pakistan, where service uncertainty comes first, is a very difficult task. Each Market segment is not converged towards service towards customer and the market share only depends on a privilaged few companies.
In this blog I will be measuring some aspects of telecom fluidity in Pakistan with respect to global norms.
Lets see.
Cheers
